There are two separate services that you’ll need for a functioning site - a domain name and a hosting plan for it. Whenever you type the domain address in your web browser, you see the content that’s uploaded in the hosting account, but if that domain address isn't linked to such an account or to an email service, it's parked. In other words, the domain address is registered and you're its owner, but it does not have any content of its own. As a substitute, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” page from the registrar company, or it could be directed to any other URL of your choice. The advantage of parking a domain is that you can keep it and be sure that nobody else will take it. At the same time, it's not going to occupy a slot for a hosted domain address in your account. You can also park domains if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domain addresses with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to forward them to the main web site in order to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Shared Hosting

You will be able to park as many domain addresses as you wish with any of the shared hosting plans which we provide. However, this feature is provided only for domain addresses registered with us since the service is always provided only by the registrar. In contrast to many companies, we don't charge anything more for parking a domain name and the process takes just a couple of clicks in your Hepsia CP. We have a number of parking templates to select from where you can include custom text. If you want to host a parked domain name in the future, adding it to your account takes simply a mouse click. Everything essential for the site to start showing up, including setting up a domain folder and creating DNS records is going to be done automatically by us. The feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to see a full list of the domain addresses that you've registered using us and you will be able to set a filter to view just the parked or just the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting

If you get a semi-dedicated server plan through us, you will be able to register and park as many domain names as you would like. Different to other providers, we are not going to charge you an additional fee for this feature. You'll be able to park a domain name with just a couple of mouse clicks through the Domain Manager instrument, that you can access via the Hepsia hosting Control Panel. In case you want to use a template, you will have a few different ones to pick from and you will be able to add custom text to any of them. The feature-rich Domain Manager enables you to set filters to check out only the hosted or only the parked domains in your account. Using the same tool, you can also un-park a domain and host it in your account with a click. Our system will modify the name servers of the domain and will create its folder inside the File Manager section, and the needed DNS records for it, automatically.
