CNAME Records in Shared Hosting
In case you have a shared hosting plan through our company and you want to set up a CNAME record, it'll take you a few clicks to make it happen. You can access the DNS records for all domains and subdomains hosted inside your account via the Hepsia CP included with each plan and adding a new record is as easy as clicking on a button, selecting the type, which will be CNAME in this case, entering the actual record value and saving the change. If you have never added such a record before, we have a Help section with a detailed video tutorial that you can watch, or you can simply contact us and we will help you with this task. If you have set up an Internet site through another company, you want to use a private URL for your webmail or you would like to designate a subdomain for use with the services of a different company, like Google Apps, all it takes is creating a CNAME record with a few clicks inside your Control Panel.
CNAME Records in Semi-dedicated Hosting
You are going to be able to create, change and delete CNAME records easily with any one of our semi-dedicated server plans. The accounts are controlled through the custom Hepsia hosting CP, and in one of its sections you'll see all records for every domain address or subdomain you have added in your account. To set up a new record, you simply have to choose the hostname that'll be forwarded (domain/subdomain), type where it will be forwarded to, pick the record type, that'll be CNAME in this case, and you're going to be all set. Even if you haven't used a web hosting service before, our Control Panel is quite easy to use, so you will not have any difficulties. We also have a short video and an in-depth help article on how to set up a CNAME record, both of which are located in the exact same section of Hepsia. With this feature, you can easily use a domain name hosted on our groundbreaking cloud hosting platform for a site created somewhere else, create a custom webmail login address with any of your domains, and more.
